Well, it's only been 5 months since my last post. My writing style? In a word, prolific.
Seriously, I have a few notable items in my life.
First, I am a father of a baby girl. She was born March 28. What a sweetie!!!
I picked up my 5 month sobriety chip from Alcoholics Anon. on April 7th.
These are two competing, yet complimetary events. I appreciate the chip relative to my past life and Scarlett lends perspective to life currently. The fusion gives me hope for the future. I thank God for the moment of clarity leading the decision to no longer use alcohol. It has brought me closer to my family. Though, I still have work to do. Sobriety has given me the coherency needed for living life honestly. This isn't a "pat myself on the back" exercise. But it does feel good.
