Or is it odd that oil is reaching new heights, as tax relief checks start arriving?

Don't call me Cracker,...Cracker
That's it. I have had it. I've been looking for an open avenue to point out the absolute obvious.
This video just pointed me down the path. Enjoy obvious racist Michelle Obama talk up the greatness of BHO. Is it ok that I carry such disdain for this America hating, racist, whiny person?
Who cares. I do. because it's true. She's all that (to coin a phrase).
Blah, blah, blah, then bang! There it is at close to 1:23 in the video. "that's OBM and he happens to be a black man" You can catch a glimpse of a cutesy smile just as the cut is made to the ending clip. Happens to be a black man? He's black. He's black? What?
He's black.
What?!??!?
Oh, never mind.
Seriously, the guy is half white and was raised by white grandparents and went to Harvard Law School. That guy couldn't get any whiter, if he was me. Listen up, his skin may be darker toned, but I don't care. What happened to his white half? Did it disappear when he became a "community organizer"? Did it get washed away in the blood of salvation from Rev. Wright's blistering, Anti-American, racist messages on Sunday mornings? What? No answer? I didn't think so. If race and gender don't matter, then don't bring it up with a coy smile. "Oh tee hee, he's black, isn't it just so sweet how I slid that in?"..no.
It's ridiculous. If the color a citizen's skin doesn't matter, then why do we keep calling this guy black. Potential to be first black president (sorry, Bill Clinton)? Sorry, folks. He has the potential to be the USA's first mixed race president. I could go on and I probably will later.
He happens to be black? He happens to be discounting one half of who he is to sell himself.
He happens to be half white. We all happen to accepting of the clear embodiment of racism...
The media keeps feeding the lie. We all keep swallowing the old 3/5 rule as gospel. Are we finally, fully through the looking glass? Or are we just being made to eat Jim Crow?

Do You Really Want More Democrat 'Leadership'?
I haven't written anything for a while. But this caught my eye.
"The House GOP leaders’ letter points out that the price of gasoline has spiked $1.18 since Democrats took over in January and stands at $3.51."
Really? Dang! Those 'Dims' are great at economic planning and implementation. It's like nothing happened....at all.
They are a stealthy lot, no?
Have you noticed how much groceries are going for these days? I can't wait for more biofuels.
Head nod to Matt Blunt, jr. for putting the cost of my favorite bread (Baker's Inn) out of budget....anyone else wonder why the food pantries in Missouri are seeing record requests for assistance?? hmmm...
Lastly, Newt is a traitor for getting all "kissy face" with Pelosi in that travesty of a "go green" commercial...in a word? lame.

The Mis-Leader's Garbled Voice of the Day

So, here it is. A dogmatic, intolerant liberal work against the introduction of Intelligent Design Theory in public schools. It is with characteristic self-righteousness, our liberal's 'voice of the day' expounds liberal stylings in writing.
Well, I am here to point out some of the guile and short assumptions of the piece. Let's get it!
"Ben Stein, the comedian advertising buffoon."~ Guess what buttercup? BenStein is much, much more than a buffoon. But the liberal writer expects no research. He banks on the reader taking the statement as gospel. Mr Stein has been involved in more facets of American life than can be reconciled here. Our writer minimizes greater thinking by name calling..a sure sign of high thinking.
"intelligent design," the belief that one God created the world and life, is absurd!"~Yep. There's no absurdity involved in using Joni Mitchell's lyrics to validate scientific debate of Evolution over Intelligent Design. Now, that's some stellar thinking! Somehow, pop icon lyricism overshadows years of debate still raging in the scientific community. The liberal mind is closed to thought outside the doctrine.
"everyone is entitled to their own belief ..., as long as they do not infringe on my beliefs" ~Oh no. Not infringement!! Oh dear sensitive reader, do not tread on these fine sensibilities. Do you get this? Contrary beliefs represent a challenge to personal rights. This, above all, is the hallmark of close-minded thinking.
"or try to defy the public school system's purpose of teaching students the truth"~I defy the public schools to teach anything other than humanist doctrine or correctly teach Math & Science, for that matter. Maybe it's time to shake up our state schools Science departments?
"He may be intelligent enough to follow the facts, or he may be so conflicted because of his strict religious family's beliefs."~Religion = bad. Facts based in "collective thought" = good. You see the family doesn't matter. It's confining and restrictive. Collectivism is freedom. Ask anyone who lived in Communist Poland. Diversification of teachings and free choice represent the the greatest threat to the liberal mindset.
"Our forefathers meant for us to have a separation of church and state"~Yes, yes. The great tenant (re: myth) of any good liberal argument against free religious discourse in the public forum. Frankly, I am surprised it took the writer this long to pull it out. At best, it's boring. So, I'll give you some great reading to counter this insipid, lock step argumentation. I'll even point out the banality of separation. The Constitutional implication isn't a difficult conclusion. It is meant to prevent using religion (ex: Church of England) as a preferential, state organization. The conclusion wasn't to prevent freedom from religion in the national conversation or life.

"Rep. Wayne Cooper, Republican ... And what kind of people voted this joker a job at the state legislature? "~ I suppose a majority. Oh? That was a slight. I couldn't tell by the name calling....witty.
"I never cease to be surprised how little we all have evolved when the intelligence of man is involved!"~A rapacious statement that plumbs the depth of the depressive mindset. It places the core on display, but speaks a great truth, too. Faith in man vs. God will fail you.

Hillary, Hillary, How Does Your Clinton Supporter Go?

I really can't leave this alone for the moment. It isn't the salacious nature of the topic.
It's about Hill and her supporters. It's where her national health care will go and what it will pay for.
As noted earlier, Sir Elton hit the US populace for it's apparent misogynist leanings.
He also found time to castigate Ronald Reagan's response to AIDS in the 1980's.
Somehow, one of the greatest US Presidents in history is to blame for mass, international gross personal/social irresponsibilty. Ok, that's perfect. It shows the typicality of Hill/Bill's bandwagon. Please note the lifestyle Hill allows Sir Elton to place as a political agenda item. Is Sir Elton her moral proxy? He isn't mine. I hope you morailty isn't usurped by supporting Hillary.
(note: there is adult content herein: no nudity but factual, real medical accounting) ***not suitable for children***

Are you getting this? Wake up. This reveals a standardized buttress of her platform.
I harbor nothing ill toward homosexuals. We all deserve God's grace and forgiveness.

More Bull From Bovines

So, Hill/Bill are in New York, raising campaign monies with Elton John.
In a word, awesomeness. I heard the coal miners in PA. love, love, love Elton John.
Here's a choice quote from Elton's commentary on the USA. Of course, it's a broad view (no pun intended). Enjoy. "I never cease to be amazed at the misogynist attitude of some of the people in this country," he said. "I say to h*** with them."
I say, "pot meet kettle".
Here's a choice quote from Elton on religion, "sourceAccording to the singer-songwriter, 59, his solution would be to "ban religion completely, even though there are some wonderful things about it".
Here's a little more on Elton and Christianity, http://www.newsbusters.org/node/11750. Hey! Look at that! Mr. Sensitive, Compassionate is reaching out to churches...with a can of gasoline and a match. Hate speech and imagery against Christianity is rampant today. But we won't really hear about Sir Elton's hate mewlings. He's a star!!! gag.
Remember who supports Hill (and somebody please tell me Coulter was kidding).
a "hey. who's that at the door?" UPDATE: The professor, MikeSAdams, drops some knowledge.
KOLR 10 and Springfield's "International Students"
Sunday night KOLR 10 News gave us a nice human interest piece on English-as-a-second-language report. The focus was fixed on 'international students' and the ad naseum use of the phrase.
The piece instructed the viewer about the continuing struggles of attending school in the Ozarks, where English is not the student's primary language. Mix in Ozarkian command of the English language and that doubles the task at hand. The presentation was fine but lacked a certain something. Namely, the representation of any student from anywhere but Latin America. There were no Germans, Spaniards, members of the Basque region, Indian, Pakistani, Iraqi, French Canadian, Korean, Sri Lanka, ....you get the idea. The presupposition stands tall. All of our 'international' emigres are hard working citizens, hard studying students from Latin America (won't you have a heart?).
wink, wink, nudge ALERT! ...by international students, KOLR means 'illegal immigrants'
Our anchor for the evening gave some very positive news (try not to be overwhelmed by the exacting nature of the numbers). We were told, out of many international students in the school system, "most graduate". WOW!!!! most! really??!!?? Oh, joyous occasion! most! How heartening!
There's no report on how much is spent by the Springfield Public School system on educating the international students. Nor how many the number 'most' represents and at what rate the international students move through our local school system or their drop out rates after receiving 'English-as-a-second-language" education.
This puff piece exemplifies the local media's soft pedal techniques used to turn public opinion. Pay attention to KOLR 10 on Sunday nights and see for yourself. If I am not mistaken, they use the Sunday night format for this purpose.
As the Springfield Mis-Leader proclaimed, "'Tis a privilege to live in the Ozarks". Well, let's act like it and protect it!!!
We might be more vigilant of our potential for taxation costs (re: class sizes) as more illegal immigrants hasten eastward from efforts put forth in the western US states: http://michellemalkin.com/2008/04/05/la-times-explains-how-well-illegal-immigration-enforcement-worked-in-arizona-and-how-awful-that-is-for-america/

Pregnancy Care Center of the Ozarks
First, this article was written by my Pops. Props!!! He's a good writer who needs some better recognition. http://www.news-leader.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080331/OPINIONS02/803310331/1006/OPINIONS Who cares if he muddles astute writing with Biblical insight. haha! Really!! You'd think separation of church and penmanship was in the Constitution, according to some of the hardened left commentary levelled against him....morons.
So, let's talk here. I seem to keep missing something. It is relative, in part, but not specifically from Pop's article. It's more from the benefit for this post's title. It is certainly not a knock against their needed, caring, worthwhile, uplifting work. But I see opportunity and a hollow corner in the need the Center represents. Let me post a scripture. Please don't kill me on this. Hermeneutics is not my strong point.
1 Corinthians 11:8-9,11-12 For man did not come from woman, but woman from man; neither was man created for woman, but woman for man..... In the Lord, however, woman is not independent of man, nor is man independent of woman. For as woman came from man, so also man is born of woman. But everything comes from God.
Hopefully, one can see where I am going here.
I feel it remiss to overlook the men or outreach for fathers-to-be (whether they be in absentia or present and accounted for). I was heartened and emotionally moved by the stories told and embodied on stage that evening. But where were the fathers? Is the cause not represented by success in retaining the family core? It is, by all appearances, based on success of the single woman and her progeny. The heart of the walk through pregnancy counseling and continuing success through child rearing classes seems built on the surrogacy of the Center.
I'm just curious about where the organization fits the father into their model. or is it worth it to them?
update: This isn't a challenge to the organization. But is it healthier for the grant writing process to exclude outreach for men? It seems to me, society now categorizes men as a lost cause in all familial events. Women's rights in the matter of pregnancy have severed the relationship between men and women further. What a horrific loss. We now condone the loss of a father as a success. It's a sham that bricks the road to ruin.
Men have the door slammed in their faces in abortion rights. The father has no say in fetus rights (as trumped by the mother's rights). The father has no say, nor a pittance of right to his new child. I will hold my tongue on child support and the heavy handed paring of the societal bond it purports to retain. Men are called "deadbeats". When is the last time you heard, "deadbeat mom"? The male is reduced to spectatorship or a wallowing beggar for time or laughable fief under the hand of whim. These obstacles are not to convey the idea of quitting to men. But would you say to the woman with child, "buck up!", "be strong", or "shoulder the burden"?
Where is the hope and help for men who need? Could it be too much for men to pray help? Do men not want the help?
For a supposed patriarchal society, we do a crummy job looking out for the boys. Men and women were created to be together. I hope our Christian and secular centers start recognizing this truth with tandem action for the family.

I Blog for Fame

Well, it's only been 5 months since my last post. My writing style? In a word, prolific.
Seriously, I have a few notable items in my life.
First, I am a father of a baby girl. She was born March 28. What a sweetie!!!
I picked up my 5 month sobriety chip from Alcoholics Anon. on April 7th.
These are two competing, yet complimetary events. I appreciate the chip relative to my past life and Scarlett lends perspective to life currently. The fusion gives me hope for the future. I thank God for the moment of clarity leading the decision to no longer use alcohol. It has brought me closer to my family. Though, I still have work to do. Sobriety has given me the coherency needed for living life honestly. This isn't a "pat myself on the back" exercise. But it does feel good.
